About the concrete mixer
The Ammann CEM S Elba single-shaft mixer is an efficiency and time-saver for a variety of applications. The twin helix mixer has a compact design that reduces the length of material movement. The shorter distance combined with optimal tool placement ensures short mixing times.
The mixers can provide capacities from 0.5 m3 to 2.66 m3 of compacted fresh concrete per batch. The CEM 60 S Elba model, with a mixing capacity of 60 liters, is ideal for concrete development and laboratory applications, as well as for universities.
Depending on the size of the mixer, the Ammann mixer processes grains up to 180 mm in size. Mixed materials in the single-shaft forced mixer are not separated by horizontal centrifugal separation.
The University of Trier in Germany has tested and validated the mixer's performance.
